Jarred Walker is the co-founder and managing partner of GCX, a commercial general contracting firm based in Southern California. He began working in construction as a teenager and gained hands-on experience across multiple areas of the industry while studying at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Early in his career, he worked for The Irvine Company and later held senior roles at major Los Angeles general contracting firms before launching GCX in 2018. Under his leadership, the company rapidly grew into a nine-figure business within two years and expanded to more than 40 full-time employees across multiple offices. Walker is known for emphasizing transparency, early planning, and high-quality execution in commercial construction projects, working closely with brokers, architects, and developers. Beyond business, he is community-oriented and serves on the board of Las Familias del Pueblo, a community center near Skid Row, where he supports facility construction and maintenance.
